| Abstract;With the launch of one-segment broadcasting service in the spring of 2006, we commercialized the cycloid-type mobile phone supporting one-segment broadcasting, which is suitable for TV-like contents. The cycloid mechanism is newly developed for this model and we focused on getting high quality image so that we can name the handset "AQUOS Mobile Phone". In the fall of 2006, we have developed the following thinner model with the larger size LCD. For more widespread use, we will achieve easier-to-use "One Seg" mobile phones by using technology of large screen LCD panel, lower power consumption, reduction of the thickness, and high quality image.
