| Abstract;Toyooka City and surrounding areas in the Tajima district of Hyogo Prefecture were studied to establish efficient "cooperative residential regions abounding with nature" and a method for acheving the target was found. Target regions were the north Tajima area centered around the city and the south Tajima area, from which commuting to Himeji City was possible. Many farmland and forest land exist around each of the areas. They were grouped together into cooperative residential regions abounding with nature and subjected to a cluster analysis for efficient management. This analysis was considered useful for solving the problem of increase in abandoned farmland. |
