Abstract;Known three stilbenoides, Gnetin C, Gnemonoside A and D were isolated from 50% ethanol and methanol extracts of Melinjo (Gnetum gnemon L.) seeds. These structures were identified by spectral analysis. Gnetin C and Gnemonoside D were showed antibacterial effect. Gnetin C, Gnemonoside A and D scavenged 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical. (author abst.)
