| Abstract;Alendronate sodium hydrate is drug for treatment of osteoporosis of third generation. The adaptation in Japan is only the osteoporosis. The application administers the 5mg tablet orally with the water which is sufficient in the rising in first 1 time every morning. In the oral agent which contains the metal, the chelate may be formed. Alendronate sodium hydrate it is the bisphosphonate which has the amino group for the side-chain, and powerful bone resorption inhibitory effect is demonstrated without hindering the calcification of the bone almost. It is metabolically very stable, and the metabolite is not being found. Gastrointestinal disturbance is main symptom on the side effect. The patient with the failure in which the gullet passage is delayed is a contraindication. The administration of the hypocalcemia to the patient is also a contraindication. Centrum and generation frequency of the fracture of the other position lower, and it is known that the bone density increases, and there are the many reports. The administration of Alendronate sodium hydrate is often started for prevention and bone density increase of the refracture of the centrum fracture. It is also useful for the reduction of chronic backache after the compressed fracture. |
