Abstract; On November 19th, 2003, the launching ceremony of a kind of future-oriented on-water bus, "Himiko", was carried out, at the Kanagawa Dockyard Co. in Kobe. Then, the cockpit canopy of teardrop type (which was fabricated by our company) at the tip of ship hull was conspicuously seen. Here, in relation with that, the mold-making technology for boat-building, which ws cultivated by our company during 45 years since its inaugulation of boat-building business, was reviewed. And, here, the history of mold-making, from the origially-done method by use of wooden-pattern to the nowaday's method by use of male plug, made by CAD/CAM and NC machine; and the male plug, used for making of Himiko's curved glass, are explained.
