| Abstract; We report a case of vaginal erosion after the Vesica sling procedure. We performed Vesica sling procedure on a forty-six-year old woman with stress urinary incontinence type III. Symptom was improved. However, incontinence became worse around four years after operation. On examination vaginal erosion was inspected and subsequent removal of sling material was performed. We performed tension-free vaginal tape (TVT) procedure which resulted marked improvement of incontinence. Although the ProteGen of Vesica sling procedure was recalled in January 1999, we must keep close follow-up examination on patients who have had sling placed, in terms of the urethral and vaginal erosion.
