Abstract;Increasing method of critical current density Jc of tape (2223) of the title with the Ag sheath was studied. The post-annealing effect on Jc and 2212 content in simple core 2223 tapes were examined. By post-annealing, Jc was increased, and the precipitation of 3221 and the decrease 2212 occured in annealing process after low temperature. Jc(0.1T,77K) became 30.8kA/cm2 in 2223 tapes dealt with at overpressure (OP) of 148 atm of total pressure, after perfectly heat-treating at 1 atm. It is considered that the increase of Jc is caused by the decrease of pores and cracks, and the decrease of 2212 content.
