| Abstract;Recently, depending upon the frequent use of the thirdgeneration cephems antibotics, a nosocmial infection of methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) has become a problem. The infection control is a very important subject, and, for that, its proper use of antibiotics is indispensable. If it is not used proper, adverse events, such as a renal disorder and a hearing disorder, arise, or Arbekacin sulfate (ABK) which is one of the anti-MRSA medicine has a possibility that an inadequate more new resistant bacteria may appear. Therefore, in order to perform safer and effective administration to a MRSA infection patient, it is required to carry out the monitoring of the serum drug concentration from the early stages of medication, and to form a suitable medication plan. In order to examine the effective administration of ABK, we investigated the administration of ABK in this hospital, retrospectively, and analyzed about the efficacy and safety. Moreover, it is therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) to the MRSA infection patient of intractable. It carries out and by taking part in the medication plan of ABK reports one case with the clear medical treatment effect. (author abst.) |
