| Abstract;Making structure alignment of the chemical compounds as a basis, the hierarchical classification of the enzyme reaction was carried out. In this study, a classification method was aimed to establish focused on the following points. 1)The classification of the reaction mechanism harmonizing classification based on enzymologic knowledge and classification based on organic-chemical knowledge, 2) to show the classification standard which is easy to handle on the computer, 3) the classification which permited the empty entry. About 5000 reaction registered in KEGG/LIGAND were expressed as combination (PAIR) of substrates and products relation based on the transfer of the atoms (group) transferred in before and after of the reaction. In comparison with the chemical structure of each substrate and product, the combination with change was set as "reaction center (RC)", and PAIR was classified by RC. |
