| Abstract;A highly efficient air-conditioning system is presented which is combining the water coolant turbo-refrigerating machine, the radiant cooling and the free cooling. The water coolant turbo-refrigerating machine produces cool water by heat of evaporating part of water within the vacuumized evaporator. The temperature of the cool water can be varied freely by changing the degree of vacuum. The CPO of the water coolant turbo-refrigerating machine exceeds 10 for the cool water temperature required for the radiant cooling (15.DEG.C. to 19.DEG.C.). Therefore, the machine is quite compatible with radiant cooling and the free cooling. The free cooling is a system to produce and utilize cool water by operation of the cooling tower only during seasons when the air temperature is low. The outline of the system and its merits are described. The merits are as follows. 1) Improvement of energy efficiency of the refrigerating machine, 2) Extension of time to apply the free cooling ant its smooth switching, and 3) Elongation of the system lifecycle. |
