Abstract; The cancer pain has remarkably been improved by promoting the use of the opioid through positive challenge of WHO. Much cancer pain is often improved by combined use of nonsteroidal antiphlogistic analgetic (NSAIDs) and the opioid. However, it is certain that the intractable pain such as neurogenic pain exists and in such a case, analgesia adjuvants such as the anticonvulsant and antidepressive drugs may be useful. It can be said that the main point of the cancer pain relaxation depends on the use of the analgesia adjuvant. Especially in this paper, it is focussed on the antidepressive drug and antianxiety agent in particular in the analgesia adjuvant for description. The antianxiety agent is seldom used as an analgesia adjuvant independently, and only the benzodiazepine drug is used sometimes for that purpose.
