Abstract;As a countermeasure of the unstable production of the Japanese apricot by self-incompatibility and the insufficient activity of the flower visiting insect, the rearing of excellent goods kinds of the self-compatibility is desired. Concerning the self-compatibility breeding, the DNA marker for selecting the self-compatibility individual early was examined. The S-RNase gene was related to the self-incompatibility, and the result showed that the discriminant of the self-compatibility variety was possible by the primer designed from saving region of this gene. By making this primer to be a DNA marker, it is possible to carry out the early selection of the Sf-RNase genotype individual which is related to the self-compatibility.
