Abstract;In the forcing culture of astringent persimmon "the sword root precocity", the softening fruit is generated frequently after the harvesting and it becomes large problem in production and distribution stage. hen, the softening fruit generation control effect was examined on 1-methylcycopropene(1-MCP) which is known that it has the effect to delay the after ripening and fruit softening in other kind of fruits.
