| Abstract;The cultivation of paddy rice "Kinuhikari" increases in Center and Northern Region of Wakayama Prefecture, as it is delicous and easy to cultivate. However, there is the generation of much immature rice of heart whites on this variety, and it is low with around 40% at 1 order rice ratio, because the brown rice appearance quality is inferior. Then, the relationship between fertilization and brown rice appearance quality was investigated, and it aimed at the quality improvement. The result showed that the white immature grain generation proportion rose by the ripening rate lowering, when unhulled rice number per unit area increases. Therefore, it was important to avoid the heavy-manuring culture in fertilizer level which has deep relation with unhulled rice number. |
