| Abstract;Spray Chinese chrysanthemum production of the Wakayama prefecture carries out the shade cultivation in the shipping goal from June to September, and the stable production is tried. However, the day length operation after the lights-out has not been unified, and the flowering characteristic for day length is not known sufficiently. Therefore, flowering delay by the improper operation and turbulence of the formation is occurred. Then, the appropriate short day treatment method was clarified by the investigation of the effect for the day length hour and the execution period in the shade cultivation.It was proven that the cut flower of which the quality in which there are no flowering delay and turbulence of the spray formation on short day treatment as the result, if it is under 13 hour day length, is good. When the period of the shade cultivation was controlled as over 4 weeks, the quality was stabilized. |
