Abstract; We experienced 70 cases of day-care general anesthesia for eye-ground examination of pediatric patients with retinoblastoma. Preanesthetic examination and informed consent was completed on the previous day. Anesthesia was induced and maintained with inhaltation of sevoflurane, nitrous oxide, and oxygen. Tracheal intubation was performed with vecronium administration. As a perioperative complication, vomiting were seen in one case during anesthesia, and in 3 cases postoperatively. The time intervals from the end og anesthesia to oral fluid intake and to discharge was 2.5 hours and 4.0 hours, respectively. After discharge, no complication was recognized.
