| Abstract;Outline of polymer application to LCD are described. Typical constituent of oriented mambrane for LCD is aromatic polyimides. Polarized film of LCD improves display efficiency such as contrast and luminance. This film is manufactured by adsorption of anisotropic iodine on PVA membarne and succeeding its extension in boric acid solution. Triacetylcellulose protective film is used for sterngthening oriented membrane and protecting it against degradation by temperature and humidity. Application to antireflection processing, phase different film and view expansion film are also described. |
