Abstract;We have developed a new robot called SWAN(Smart Working robot for Anti-Nuclear-disaster). It has a mobile system, a manipulator, remote camera and eight tools. Using the tools, which can be exchanged automatically, and a remote multi monitor with a stereo vision system, this robot can perform efficiently seven kinds of works for anti-nuclear-disaster. We confirmed its performance by using a mockup environment of a nuclear plant. (author abst.)
