Abstract;Although many kinds of waste have been recycled in the cement industries, a larger quantity of the wastes is expected to be recycled by the cement manufacturing process, and the kinds of processing articles are expected to increase too. With establishment of various waste recycling laws, the requirement for recycling waste plastic and glass is growing. Hence we have been working on the cement recycling technology with the support of NEDO. The cement recycling technology is reacting Alkali, such as Na and K in the waste glass, and remaining chloride in the waste plastic each other in the cement manufacturing process, separating and removing NaCl and KCl, and utilizing the remaining as raw materials and fuel for cement. So far with the experiment using the test plant, receiving capacity of 30kg/h raw materials, we confirmed acceptable figures on the quality of cement clinker, and the volume of DXNS, hydrogen chloride and CO in the exhaust gas, can be considered that there is no effect of the environment. Thus the experiment demonstrates that the waste plastic and glass can be recycled for a resource of cement. (author abst.)
