| Abstract; The case was a 84-year-old female, who hit her mons pubis hardly and caused the black spot 40 years ago, which was left untreated. As the black spot rapidly expanded since 2 months ago, the case came to hospital. There was a pedunculated tumor of 8*7.5*2.5cm in the mons pubis and the center was a granulation. In the circumference of the granulation region, small black granular nodes of 3 to 5cm in diameter were colllected. The lymph nodes were felt in both groins (1 in the right, 2 in the left). The tumor was extracted at the depth of subcutaneous adipose tissue separating 3cm from the tumor limbic, In both sides lymph nodes, the tumor cell could not be recognized. There has been no recurrence at present, 5 months after the operation. From the pathologic finding, it was diagnosed as mixed type (substantiality type, adenoid type and cornification type) basal cell carcinoma which showed various differentiation. The basal cell carcinoma of the vulva including the mons pubis is rare. |
