Abstract; From April to November of 2001, we performed transurethral ureterolithotripsy using a small diameter rigid ureteroscope and the Swiss Lithoclast in 19 patients (21 ureters) having ureteral calculi. The surgery was achieved safely and uneventfully. Using the LithoCatch immobilization device, lithotripsy was more completely performed and was found to be almost free of any stones in just a single treatment. (author abst.)
