| Abstract;The rolling processing is a kind of plastic working, which can produce products of high precision efficiently without producing chip. It has been generally adopted for forming of threaded part of external thread. But, in recent years, it became to be used also for serration, spline forming, etc. In this paper, at first, the kinds of rolling method, material of dies and its heat treatment, profile of thread and its accuracy, and chamfering of threaded part of dies, are explained. To the next, dies for round dies type rolling (6 kinds), dies for flat dies type rolling, dies for planetary type rolling, and dies for wrought flow type rolling, are explained. |
