| Abstract; To realize a large floating structure, the examination on the estimation of various environmental external forces is very important. The earthquake effect that the sea shock load on the floating structure during the earthquake is one of the important environmental external forces. However, the detail researches on this seaquake are comparatively new, and there are few studies in the realistic model. In this study, it is investigated on propagation characteristics of the seaquake in frequency domain and time domain by using the general-purpose finite element analysis software considering sea bottom slope and soft sediments. In addition, the partial structural responses of the floating structure by the shock load due to seaquakes are also investigated. The examinations indicate that the maximum stress responses of the bottom plate may exceed allowable stress of the Very Large Floating Structure due to the shock load by the seaquake. (author abst.) |
