| Abstract;Intelligent Transport System (ITS) is becoming the key industry following internet and mobile communication, and cooperative research by the industry-government-academia is widely proceeded as the technical and academic fusion region of information communication and traffic. First, this paper presents an approach of the industry-government-academia in ITS research and development, and roles to be fulfiled by the industry-government-academia and institutes are verified. Next, subjects in ITS research and development are arranged, and key points are presented by collecting them. Then, subjects and strategies necessary for research and development in future are collected. In researching and developing ITS, the whole disciplines must be recognized, and not only engineering fields such as control, devices, information processing, and communication which are argued as usual ITS, but also subjects related to humans such as insurances, laws, and environments which can not be coped by technology must be covered. |
