| Abstract; As the integumentary preparation for treatment of psoriasis vulgaris, calcipotriol (CT) (Dovonex ointment) is presented. CT has no systemic side effects even in the high concentration, and can be expected to exhibit the safe and sufficient therapeutic effects on psoriasis. In the comparative test with the betamethasone valerate, existing tacalcitol was the equivalent effects, and the CT was more effective than tacalcitol. This paper describes knacks of the usage of CT including administration and dosage, and precautions for use including the side effects. |
