| Abstract;Humus activated sludge methods have oderless at sewage treatment plants including sludge thicking and dewatered cake. This report deals with a oder materials concentration which measured in a humus activated sludge plants, and shows a oderless design condition based on analysis of running datum of humus activated sludge methods. In a humus activated sludge, there is little protozoan, and so bacteria which kas low growth rate can be growth. This living thing phase is same as that in a soil. In this case, sludge retention time of plants is very important and it is recomended to keep over 60 days of sludge retention time. (author abst.) |
