Abstract;Inflatable structures has been studied for plane deployable space structures as well as large deployable reflectors. Two application methods are proposed to establish the lightweight two-dimensional deployable structures. One is a construction method using thin film membrane and inflatable tubes. The other is a method using triaxial woven fabric membrane and inflatable tubes. Dimension of the inflatable tube and total mass are calculated under the condition of first natural frequency of 1.0Hz. Inflatable structures can be applied effectively to the lightweight deployable space structures with sufficient structural rigidity. (author abst.)
