| Abstract;Forecast of space environment becomes necessary because utilization of space is making satellites important ingredient of infrastructure for human society. Real-time satellite observation data is valuable for space weather forecast, in which timely recognition of current status of space environment is essential. In the L5 mission, real-time delivery of space environment alert to the ground is planned as a part of real-time satellite operation system. The movement toward real-time delivery of satellite data is already in action for the ACE satellite and is planned for the IMAGE satellite to be launched in 2000 under international collaboration.
