| Abstract;This paper describes six items such as the difficulty of grip adjustment for thin wall cylindrical work by the hydraulic chuck as a problem in gripping the work in turning. Feature of the structure of developed NC chuck is to drive the scroll by the main spindle driving motor. This paper describes the six functions of the NC chuck such as gigital setting of gripping force, improvement of circularity by weak grip, availability of high speed grip even with weak grip. In the example of application, this paper shows three examples such as that the circularity became 5.6 .MU.m by weak grip with 500kgf which is 1/4 of the ordinary grip. |
