| Abstract; To improve productivity of the plant process, it is necessary to enhance the throughput and to reduce energy consumption by combining advanced controls such as multivariable model predictor control under stable operation. For this purpose, the use of online NMR sensors is effective. This paper briefly explains the NMR sensor and presents NMR sensor application series for process plants, such as crude oil topping plant, fluid cat cracker, blending optimization and supervisory system. The NMR sensor and other sensors are compared in terms of initial cost, investment performance, maintenance and measurable range. |
