| Abstract; The gyrotron is heat source for the nuclear fusion, and development of the ITER plan that the nuclear fusion will be caused by using 60 pieces of 1000kW gyrotron has been advanced. The development of the vacuum containment window, which the magnetic wave take up from milli-wave zone high power oscillating tube gyrotron, have been the problem. In usual ceramics, the absorption of the electromagnetic wave is magnified in the electromagnetic wave of the 170GHz band, and the temperature rises in the instant, and it can not use for the gyrotron of a continuous output. 200kW was limitative for surface cooling type window of the double window made of the sapphire. Dvias industry diamond Co. manufactured the gyrotron of the nearby water cooling window by using the diamond disk of 10cm diameter and 2.2mm thickness. Remarkably the temperature rise is smaller than conventional Si3N4. The dielectric dissipation factor is calculated the temperature rise of 50.DEG.C. at 1000kW by the use of the 2*10-5 disk. |
