| Abstract;On personal computers and workstations, the GUI with desktop metaphor is widly accepted. We have been developped a mobile agent system. As one of the tools for mobile agents, we developped a desktop-like visual shell: Bali on top of the mobile agent system. The purpose of developing Bail is to enable users natural and intuitive handling of mobile agents. In this paper, we will introduce a way of extending the concept of desktop metaphor to agent based desktop. We are describing the outline of GUT and inside of its structure as an example together with introduction of our own mobile agent system. (author abst.) |
