About Science Links JapanAbout Science Links Japan: Science Links Japan was launched in 2006 by Japan Science and Technology Agency(JST), a core organization for implementing Japan's science and technology policy in line with the objectives of the Science and Technology Basic Plan. Science Links Japan is a topically arranged directory of online information resources for science and technology in Japan. Japan's scientific and technical information (STI) scattered across or isolated on the Internet has been collected and categorized under major topics. The website aims to provide ease of access to Japan's STI for non-Japanese researchers, policy makers and many others who need Japan's STI. Most of the contents come from information generated/compiled by the public sector, such as the government, universities, R&D institutes, and STI institutes. Science Links Japan has been compiled with a sharp focus on URL resources available in the English language. URL resources available only in the Japanese language also have been selected from the viewpoint of comprehensiveness and importance.

À propos de Science Links Japan (Passerelle vers le Japon de l’information scientifique et technique)Science Links Japan a été lancé en 2006 par l'Agence pour la Science et la Technologie japonaises(JST), organisation fondamentale pour la diffusion en ligne des mesures/politiques de la S&T du Japon, afin de réaliser des objectifs ciblés dans le programme fondamental de la S&T. Science Links Japan est le répertoire de ressources électroniques classées par schéma dans le domaine de la S&T au Japon. Les Informations S&T du Japon, éparpillées ou isolées sur d’autres sites Internet, ont été recueillies et classées par grands thèmes. Le site Web qui a pour but de faciliter l'accès aux Informations S&T du Japon, est destiné aux internautes étrangers (non japonais), chercheurs, décideurs politiques, et toute personne simplement intéressée par l’information S&T du Japon. La plupart des contenus proviennent des informations générées / rassemblées dans le secteur public, tel que le gouvernement, les universités, les instituts de R&D et les instituts des informations S&T (STI). Science Links Japan a été compilé, tout en mettant l’accent sur les ressources électroniques (URL) disponibles en anglais. Les ressources électroniques (URL), seules disponibles en japonais, sont également incluses, du point de vue de l'exhaustivité et de l'importance.
このサイトについてScience Links Japan(サイエンス・リンクス・ジャパン)は、日本における科学技術基本計画の中核的実施機関である、独立行政法人科学技術振興機構(Japan Science and Technology Agency 略称JST)によって2006年に開設されました。 Science Links Japanはインターネット上に散在する日本の科学技術情報源を収集し主要なトピック別に分類して紹介する、日本の科学技術情報源の総合案内Webディレクトリです。海外の研究者、科学技術政策担当者のほか、日本の科学技術情報を必要とする多くの方が、簡単に必要な情報にアクセスできるサイトを目指しています。 特に、政府、大学、R&D関連機関、科学技術情報機関などの公的機関の情報を数多く紹介しています。 英語で収集できる情報に重点を置いていますが、日本語のみの情報も重要性などを考慮して収集し、英語の情報を補完しています。
