Many people who have completed doctoral courses at graduate school and obtained PhD are today unable to find employment in university research or the field of education. Because of their relatively high age of around 30 and their lack of real-world job experience, they have also faced difficulty finding employment at private companies. In many cases they make their living as part-time university instructors or teachers at preparatory schools. The government has established a plan to support these “postdocs,” but this has thus far had little effect. |
