Biometrics

Biometric measurements of physical characteristics that are unique to an individual, such as fingerprints, voice prints, and veins, are used for human recognition. They are more difficult to falsify than cards or passwords, giving them a high level of safety. To prevent the unauthorized use of cash cards, some banks have begun issuing IC cash cards that recognize individuals by the pattern of their palm veins. Fingerprint verification is currently the most widespread, used to recognize users of computers, mobile phones, and other devices.
